8.5/10: Many don't know a great deal about Boy 8-Bit, aka David Morris, but to be honest, with a mix like this it don’t really matter. What is known is that he delights in producing dirtied-up electro and fidget house at its most fidgety and satisfying, both of which are present this Clash mix. A BANGIN new 30 min mix showcasing many of b8b's brand new releases and remixes...starts off a tad slow but picks up in a hurry. Turn that bass up, it really creeps up on you in this mix.

9/10: My personal favorite b8b mix, he just absolutely demolishes this set. He has a sound to his bass that nobody else can replicate, you'll see exactly what i mean right from the start of this set. This set is a bit harder than the first set that I posted...probably has to do with it being in front of a live crowd instead of a podcast. In any case, it's a GREAT set...enjoy and sorry about the useless tracklist =D.

Todd Edwards!

Todd Edwards began his musical career around 1992. He employs vocal reconstruction techniques to create house songs, creating a unique vocal collage set to a four to the floor beat. With remixes numbering in the hundreds, some of the artists Edwards has remixed include Wildchild, St. Germain, Benjamin Diamond, Justice, Klaxtons, and Dmitri from Paris. Much like his solo albums, his remixes make use of a complex vocal sampling technique, which in some cases renders the original track almost unrecognizable.

Edwards co-produced and performed vocals on the Daft Punk song "Face to Face" from the album Discovery. The song reached #1 on the Billboard Club chart in 2004. Edwards' style went on to hugely influence the British based UK garage scene, and has become a legendary figure in the international house music scene today.

Quick Bio:
Born and raised in Miami, SonicC started producing at the age of 16 when he wanted to make exclusive remixes for DJing, he ended up becoming addicted to creating music, and began buying VST’s, Monitors, and a Midi controller. Influenced greatly by his Latin roots, he also draws inspiration from Hip Hop and Disco. In addition, he was very influenced by the LaidbackLuke.com forum, where Luke assisted him in learning the fine art of producing Dutch House-esque tracks. I want to introduce a great producer, to those of you who do not know much about him. Christophe Hoeffel started productions in the mid 1990's with various talents. But this is not how most know him. Since Adopting the pseudonym Kris Menace in 2005, He has composed and remixed with brilliant talent and taste. Last year in 2009, Kris released an album called Idiosyncrasies, which compiles most of his work since 2005. With its mellow upbeat harmonies, and smooth basslines, you cant help but feel good.

I Need To Let Off Some Angger.

Angger Dimas is a name you should definitely begin to recognize and pay attention to soon. From Indonesia, this 22 (!) year old has been brewing up a sound ready to burst the speakers and shake the dance floor. Getting spins from well known DJs such as Laidback Luke, Dirty South, Afrojack and plenty more, I look forward to what he's going to bring this year. He has a distinctly FAT sound that almost makes you wince from the sheer weight of his drops. His remixes are quality bangers, in particular, "I Like That" by Richard Vission, Static Revenger feat Luciana is one of those songs I know I'm going to hear in clubs all this summer, and honestly, I can't wait.

A Humble Intro

I see that my associate Mr. Batson has introduced himself. Kyle and I have decided to start writing this blog because all the other crappy blogs on the internet aren't sick enough. Kyle is an aspiring DJ, while I am simply an avid (free) music collector, and I'm sure our posts will reflect that.

I will be posting mostly single songs and maybe a high quality mix every once in a while in an attempt blow anyone's face off who has the misfortune of reading my posts. I'm now going to go around and convince people to read this blog because it's better than all the other ones.

They say the worst ideas are the ones that are never put into motion. I'm pretty glad this idea finally came to reality. This is the place where The Worst and I rant on about how bad we feel trance and dubstep is, and how much better Daft Punk is than everyone else. Might as well show you a taste of the music I like to dance to, although you probably already know what I listen to, since no one random is probably ever going to look here. A mix I made earlier tonight, mistakes a plenty, but I had some fun while doing it.
